FBM Webchat Widget Integration

Suppose you have previously created a Channel for Direct Messages and connected it to Facebook Messenger. In that case, you can also integrate it with a Webchat Widget that can be used via FBM.

To integrate, go to the Facebook Page, the Inbox tab, Settings, and View All Settings. Once in the Inbox Settings, select Set Up, and a pop-up setup method will appear. Select Standard.

Afterward, configure Webchat by filling in the Language and Add Domains. Once everything is filled in, you can customize the appearance of Webchat and see a live preview.

Then return to the DashboardInteraction, where a Facebook Integration Setup pop-up will appear. You can immediately press the Continue with Facebook Messenger button and select the page that has been created.

Make sure to follow the settings below so that Webchat works appropriately.

If everything is set up correctly, the Page you created will automatically be connected to the DashboardInteraction as the new communication channel.

Finally, you can test it by visiting the website you added with the related plugin code.
